I know I often post about the good times with BG and some of the funny things she does. But it's not all wine and roses. She's 150% into her terrible two's now, and while on the whole she's still a damn good kid, she has her moments.
Tonight was one of those moments. I was tired. It was super hot out today, and we were a bit late getting dinner prepared. By the time I got her fed, and finally sat down to eat myself, she was starting to squawk. Then she began to go into full meltdown mode. I was so irritated. I wasn't thinking clearly at all, because I began to explain to her that we were still eating, and that she was going to have to sit in her high chair and wait until we were done.
My wife turned to me and said, "You're trying to reason with a tired two-year-old."
Believe me, there is no reasoning with a tired two-year-old.
